The World's Fastest
LNP Query Network
proleneä operates the most robust Local Number Portability query infrastructure available to carriers today. NPAC-sourced data. Globally distributed servers. Microsecond response times at any query volume.
What is LNP and why does it matter?
Local Number Portability (LNP) allows phone subscribers to keep their number when switching carriers. For every call your network routes, an LNP dip determines which carrier currently owns the dialed number — and therefore where to send the call.
An incorrect or slow LNP lookup means misrouted calls, failed connections, and wasted termination spend. At high call volumes, even a few microseconds of additional latency compounds into real cost.
proleneä's LNP infrastructure is purpose-built for carriers who can't afford to get this wrong.
Each LNP query returns the Local Routing Number (LRN) — the routing identifier used to direct calls to the correct carrier network, along with SPID, OCN, portability status, and full NPAC record data. This process is commonly called LRN dipping or LNP dipping — proleneä's LNP dipping service completes each lookup in under 50 microseconds.
Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.
Every feature in our LNP service exists because carriers asked for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is LNP dipping?
LNP dipping — also called LRN dipping — is the real-time lookup that determines which carrier currently owns a phone number, so a call can be routed correctly. proleneä returns each LNP dip in under 50 microseconds.
What's the difference between LNP dipping and LRN dipping?
They describe the same process. An LNP (Local Number Portability) dip returns the Local Routing Number (LRN) for a dialed number, so "LNP dipping" and "LRN dipping" are used interchangeably.
How fast is an LNP dip?
proleneä completes each LNP query in under 50 microseconds on average, with capacity for 225,000 queries per second and a 99.999% uptime SLA.
What data does an LNP query return?
Each query returns the Local Routing Number (LRN) plus SPID, OCN, portability status, and full NPAC record data for the dialed number.
What regions does proleneä cover?
proleneä provides NPAC-sourced number portability data across the United States, with international coverage available on request — contact us to confirm the markets you need.
How much does LNP dipping cost?
Pricing is per query with a low minimum, and a free testing period is available so you can validate speed and accuracy before committing. Start a free trial.
